THE POEM : Being At Peace

Whilst we go after what we crave
We lose whatever we have saved
Our minds our bodies no longer feel safe

We run to escape but end up in a cave

Inflamed in pores
Going against nature and its law
Which gives priority to keeping well
In an open garden we should dwell
Flowers blossom and butterflies fly

In a breathtaking sky

But the questions imprison us
Who, what, where and why
I can't breathe I only sigh
Then I come to accept
This is a prison for the ones who believe

Being content with these walls is ultimate relief
